The 2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup drew 236,015 fans in Berlin, setting a modern-era attendance record, according to FIBA’s official report. The Sept. 4–13 tournament averaged 6,556 spectators across 36 games, surpassing the 145,519 total from Sydney 2022 despite featuring two fewer games. The event also generated more than 3.3 billion social-media impressions and 60 million engagements, reinforcing the continued global growth of women’s basketball. FIBA did not publish a full commercial valuation.
