NBC Sports cites ESPN on three finalists and a $12–13 billion package

The NBA is expected to select the winning ownership group for a Las Vegas expansion team in the very near future, according to NBC Sports, which cites ESPN’s Shams Charania. Three groups remain: Nancy Walton Laurie and Bill Laurie; Steve Apostolopoulos and Marc Lasry; and Bill Foley and Jerry Colangelo. The reported $12–13 billion figure includes the franchise and a new arena, while Commissioner Adam Silver has said formal expansion approval for Las Vegas and Seattle is expected before the end of 2026. No winning group or formal approval has been announced.
