Saddiq Bey has reportedly agreed to a three-year, $55.5 million contract extension with the New Orleans Pelicans, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania. The agreement gives the 27-year-old forward a longer-term future in New Orleans following the highest-scoring season of his NBA career.
Bey averaged 17.7 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists across 72 appearances during the 2025–26 campaign, making 64 starts. He shot 45.1% from the field, 36.7% from three-point range and 84.1% from the free-throw line.
His production made him an important part of the Pelicans’ rotation. Bey finished third on the team in scoring average and second in total three-pointers made. The reported extension rewards that contribution as New Orleans prepares for the 2026–27 season.
